I have the prior aluminum rail model but a friend has this one. Excalibur Axiom is the best deal in crossbows bar none. You'd be crazy to consider anything in this price range from anybody else.

After reading every Excalibur Axiom review I could on the Excalibur Axiom SMF Crossbow Kit, I could not find any negative reviews. So, I bought one, and boy was I surprised. Excalibur Axiom was everthing I read about. Accurate, light weight, simple and easy to assemble. After assembling, it only took 2 shots and I was dead center on every shot at 20 yards.

After that the scope is automaticly centered at 30 and 40 yards. Another feature I liked was you only have to remove 2 screws on the limbs and the whole thing will fit in a 2 gun rifle case instead of the large crossbow case. Reassemble in the field and you are still hitting the bulls eye on every shot. Another selling point was if your string breaks in the field, it can be replaced without any effort or special equipment. I could go on and on. Just remember all the Excalibur Axiom reviews you read are the really true.
