The stock and limbs are camouflaged in "Real Tree", the rail is matte black, and there were no flaws in any surface. The trigger was light (less than 3 pounds), very crisp, and had no noticeable creep. The manual safety is easily accessible, positive acting, and large enough to use wearing gloves.
The supplied scope is designed specifically for the bow shooting 300fps and is very clear, adjustment is 1 click per half inch at 20 yards. The scope was close to zero out of the box and sighting in to dead on only took 4 shots. It is a 2.5 power cross hair scope with aim points for 10 through 50 yards which proved to be very close at all ranges.

If I have any negative comment it would be that the bow without silencers is moderately loud when compared to my PSE compound but I believe that this is offset by the speed and ease of use. Excalibur Axiom SMF offers a damping kit for the bow that may be a good investment if sound is an issue. Today I used a cocking aid at 20 yards and Excalibur Axiom SMF was very consistant . After 3 shots I had to start staggering my targets so I didn't break any arrows. Without a doubt !!! I am very satisfied with Excalibur Axiom SMF. I hardly ever miss with my Mathews compound. Excalibur Axiom SMF is a little easier and more accurate then my Mathews switchback.
